We extend to you a personal invitation to come worship with us, and participate in our many religious activities and programs on a regular basis.

Your Unit Ministry Team is dedicated to the mission of ensuring the free exercise of religion for Soldiers, Family Members, Retirees, and DOD Civilians. We seek to accomplish this mission by providing opportunities for worship, religious education, pastoral counseling, quarterly prayer breakfast, and other religious events.

If you need additional religious support, your Garrison UMT is available to assist you. Remember, just as your Commander is your Commander regardless of your MOS, your Chaplain is your Chaplain regardless of your faith, and stands ready to serve and/or assist you. God Bless.

Worship Opportunities

Fort Hamilton Post Chapel

Catholic Mass: Sundays at 9:30 a.m. (Confession and Baptisms available upon request)

Collective Protestant Service: Sundays at 11:00 a.m. (Baptisms available upon request)

Kid's Church: Sundays at 11:00 a.m. (Ages K-5 / General Christian)


Religious Programs

Fort Hamilton Post Chapel

Kids Club: Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. (Ages 4-12)

Bible Study: Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m. (Bible Study is designed for both men and women)

Quarterly Prayer Breakfast: Each calendar quarter a Garrison Prayer Breakfast is conducted at the Fort Hamilton Community Club at 7:30 a.m. (The next Prayer Breakfast is on 14 May 2009)

Jewish Lunch & Learn: During the calendar year, a Kosher lunch is provided at the Chapel during Jewish Holidays. (Call 718-630-4969 for more information.)

The Fort Hamilton Post Chapel is located at 219 Grimes Road next to the Child Development Center.

Hours of Operation
The hours of operation is 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Boy Scout Troop 310 meet at the Post Chapel on Thursdays at 7:30 p.m.

The Girl Scout Troop meet at the Post Chapel on Fridays at 6:30 p.m.
